This Instant Settlement & Payout Policy defines the rules, process, and conditions for merchant payout services provided by Ninepay for AEPS, Micro ATM (MATM), UPI Cash Withdrawal (UPI ATM), and other supported financial services.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all registered merchants, distributors, and partners using Ninepay B2B services including:
AEPS Cash Withdrawal
Micro ATM (MATM)
UPI Cash Withdrawal (UPI ATM)
Other eligible banking services
3. Instant Settlement Facility
Merchants can withdraw or transfer their available settlement balance at any time, subject to system availability and transaction limits.
The available payout amount depends on the successful transactions processed through the Ninepay platform.
Settlement balance shall be reflected in the merchant wallet/dashboard after successful transaction processing.
4. Merchant Payout Rights
Merchants are allowed to take payout multiple times in a day, subject to operational and banking limits.
A merchant may request payout up to the available balance generated from AEPS, MATM, or UPI Cash Withdrawal transactions.
5. Settlement & Payout Timing
Payout requests are generally processed instantly.
In certain situations, payout may take up to T+1 working day due to:
Banking downtime
NPCI/Bank maintenance
Technical issues
Compliance review
Partner bank delay
6. Payout Mode
All payouts shall be credited only to the merchant’s registered bank account.
Ninepay does not support cash settlement.
7. Payout Limits
Ninepay may define:
Minimum payout amount
Maximum daily payout limit
Transaction-wise payout limits
These limits may change based on merchant category, transaction volume, risk profile, or banking partner guidelines.
8. Hold, Freeze & Delayed Settlement
Ninepay reserves the right to temporarily hold, freeze, or delay merchant settlement in the following cases:
Suspicious or fraudulent activity
High-risk transaction behavior
Excessive chargebacks or disputes
Incomplete KYC or verification
RBI/NPCI compliance requirement
Law enforcement or regulatory instruction
Technical or banking issuesg issues
9. Failed Payout
If payout fails because of incorrect bank details, inactive account, or banking issue, the amount will be reversed to the merchant wallet after verification.
Reprocessing time may depend on banking partner response.
10. Merchant Responsibility
The merchant is responsible for:
Providing correct bank details
Maintaining sufficient documentation
Following RBI/NPCI guidelines
Avoiding fraudulent or unauthorized transactions
11. Compliance & Monitoring
All merchant transactions are monitored under:
RBI Guidelines
NPCI Rules
AML/KYC Regulations
Risk & Fraud Monitoring Policies
12. Policy Modification
Ninepay reserves the right to modify, suspend, or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
